Advanced open water diver

The Advanced Open Water Diver course opens the door to your diving future, enabling you to complete fantastic specialties such as PADI Night Diver, Deep Diver, Boat Diving, Nitrox, Underwater Videography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and many more.
The course has 5 dives, including Deep and Navigation. We can discuss the other three with you depending on your passions and the time of year.
In order to undertake the AOWD course, you need to be a PADI Open Water Diver (or have an equivalent qualifying certification from another organisation) and be at least 15 years old (you can become a PADI Junior AOWD at 12 years of age).
Successful completion of this course allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30m with another certified buddy (same level or higher) for life.

Medicals
Anyone with a good level of fitness can practice scuba diving.
However, some medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart, lung and back problems, or surgeries done in the last 5 years, could prevent you from participating.
Before signing up for a PADI course, please check and fill out the standard Medical Statement Form.
Every answer has to be “NO”.
If any of your answers is YES, you will require a medical certificate from a doctor specialising in diving and hyperbaric medicine.
We recommend taking the form to your doctor for completion before you travel to Spain.
