Introduction Dive beginner program for scuba diver
Black Frog Divers would like to offer an Introduction Dive beginner program to all that are curious about the underwater world and scuba diving.
It is safe, fun and for everyone. We have many years of experience in scuba diving and enjoyable dive sites for beginners. The price includes all you need, transport from and to the hotel, equipment, instructor, snack and drink.
Scuba Diving is a sport for everyone, it is easy, safe and fun. The only requirements are: being in good general health and be older than 12 years.
Introduction Dive:
One to one with Instructor. Before the dive we choose the equipment for divers, followed by dive briefing in English (Spanish, Italian, Polish), where we explain the format of the dive , what to do, what not to do and why, we will explain a few basic hand signals for communication underwater and all you need to know about equipment. At the dive site when we go into the water, the Instructor will help participants with all the equipment. Participants will have plenty of time to get used to breathing through the regulator standing in shallow water, after we are all ready we will descend and slowly start our dive. The Instructor will hold the participant at all times adjusting the buoyancy. The dive will last for a minimum of 30min and will be no deeper than 6 meters. Participants can use his/her underwater camera during the dive. After the dive there will be time to relax on the beach with a little snack and drink. After successfully completing the dive participants will be awarded with a diploma from Black Frog Divers.
What is there to see:
Octopus, rainbow fish, salem, schools of sardines, colorful sea slugs, hermit crabs and many other different fish. Colorful corals, wreck and interesting topography of the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.
Dive sites:
Depending on weather conditions we have a variety of dive sites to choose from, with an easy access to water, toilets, shower and bars.
Local wreck in Torrox Costa: 5min away from Torrox Costa, 80m long an old Vapor from the civil war. Sank in 1937, maximum depth 5 meters, flat sea bottom makes this dive site very safe with good visibility. Only this dive site does not have any of the above facilities.
La Herradura: 20min away from Torrox Costa is a beautiful bay with cliffs, sandy bottom and interesting rock formations. Maximum depth 6 meters.
Marina del Este: 25min away from Torrox Costa, an amazing little bay with cliffs and gravel beach. Big diversity of marine life and rocky bottom.
Divers can be accompanied by members of family or friends (additional cost of 5€ p/p for the transport, subject to availability) or join a snorkeling trip for 25€ p/p (price include all you need).
